From the Solarium double glass doors lead into the spa area. Here, many kinds of treatments are available. To the left of the entry doors is another door, which leads to this line of chairs, looking out at the sea. Rarely are there more than a few people sitting here. The doors look as if you should be a spa customer to use them. The solarium is enclosed with glass, whereas this area is not, allowing one to feel the wind and smell the ocean. Or is it smell the wind and feel the ocean. Whatever. We sometimes take our coffee out here and do our morning devotions.

Inside, one passes past the spa appointment desk and into a hallway to take stairs up to the fitness center. Most fitness users just enter directly from that level. Little do they know that down on the spa deck are two locker rooms, male and female, as well as a steam room and a dry sauna. i discovered that this area is open without cost or reservation. So, after working out, I usually spend 15 to 20 minutes getting nice and hot, which I imagine is good for my painful joints. Were I a bit more affluent, I would avail myself of massage and acupuncture. However, sitting on this spa deck and watching the ocean go by without being pressed by partiers or drinkers or talkers is a good thing.
